Professional and Volunteer Work
Sometimes just talking about my adoration for animals is not enough to understand the weight and level of my experience. Therefore, I’ve outlined some of my professional background for you to explore below.
Reidville Rd Pet Grooming
June 2005 - January 2008
My aunt owns this pet salon and as a young girl, I would go in and help. My mother and grandmother also worked here, so naturally, I followed and fell in love with working with animals. It has now become a very important passion of mine. I started with just bathing the animals and slowly learned how to groom every different breed.
Waynesville Animal Shelter
December 2014 - May 2015
Working here was both a joy and a sadness. It was sad to see all these loving and beautiful animals being brought in, but it was a great joy to be able to care for them until someone finally adopted them. Every morning I would come in and let them out, clean their kennel, feed them and spend time with them before moving to the next one.
Dog Groomer
June 2008 - Current
I have spent time grooming and pet sitting in several states as my stepdad was military and have enjoyed every minute of it. Whether it be friends, family or a new client, their furbaby was in good hands as I love each and every one as my own.
